Carol Lander





Carol plays the piano, flute, guitar and banjo. She has been playing weddings and teaching music lessons since she was 16 years old. After attending the College Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, she taught music in school and has been music director at several parishes in the Greater Cincinnati area. She has performed sacred music in the US and Europe in such places as St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.

Carol has produced a solo piano music CD, and is a composer of piano solos published by Imagine Music in New York. She also co-wrote a school musical with her sister called Flyers, which was recently published by Dramatic Publishing Company in Chicago.

Currently Carol teaches in-person and remote online private lessons on piano and flute in Old Town and Searsport, Maine. Most of her students are in Maine, though she has also had students from Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, California, and the Czech Republic. She is the Chorus Accompanist for Old Town Elementary School in Old Town, Maine, and Orono Middle and High Schools in Orono, Maine.
